How many people use Pinterest?
The closest company-reported figure here is 640 million monthly active user accounts worldwide at 30 June 2026. It should be cited as MAU, not as a verified count of distinct people.
Is this the average number of users during Q2?
No. Pinterest's headline MAU total is measured on the last day of the quarter, using the preceding 30 days. Its separate ARPU calculation uses an average-MAU denominator; that does not turn the headline total into a quarterly average.
Can I compare this directly with Snapchat's user count?
Not with Snapchat's daily-active total: the activity window and quarterly aggregation differ. Even two metrics called MAU need their definitions and product scope checked before comparison.
