What does this measure? Definition & comparison limits

Individuals who used the internet for private purposes to participate in social networks in the last three months, as a percentage of all individuals in the selected age group.

Countries share an indicator and denominator. Translations, fieldwork and survey modes can still differ. Age comparisons describe different groups in one year; they do not show how individuals change as they grow older.

No confidence intervals are supplied in this extract. These are descriptive differences, not significance tests. Monthly active users and platform audiences answer different questions and cannot be added to this view.
